AJuff
I came home from work and found one of our new hens is missing. She is my favourite hen, she lays beautiful blue eggs and has very pretty feathers. I've searched the garden and can't find her anywhere . . . she's just gone. Christian
Hopefully she is up a tree or somewhere safe. Don't give up just yet. She may well turn up safe and sound. Hope its good news tomorrow.
xChicken04x
I'm so sorry . Was she free-ranging? Or in the run? Is it a possablilty that she could have been stolen? I hope you find her. xx
chelsea
check hedges and look upwards in the trees she may have just roosted somewhere. A member's chook on here also went missing and she found it the next day in the hedge. Fingers crossed she's fine.

feemcg
I'm sure her nose has got the better of her and she's gone off to explore - hopefully she'll turn up in the morning.
AJuff
Panic Over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH came from work and went out to look again. He found her roosting in a tree on the other side of our garden fence. Even if she had been safe from fox, badger or cat she would never have got back home and on the other side of the tree is the road. I am so surprised he found her there. In the morning they won't be let out to free range until OH builds a new enclosed run. Good things come from bad and it means he really will build one asap.
