I have just found out my husband is SPYING on my omlet chat!

Recommended Posts

I suspect he's secretly jealous of the whole chickens-friends-banter-laughter-tears thing that goes on here. As you can probably gather me and Significant OH use the same logon and password - the ultimate in sharing :vom: !

She posts (and on occasions helps out with) problems and I add sarcastic posts as and when I'm in the 'funny mood'. I think a lot more OH's should take an interest frankly. People tend to lead very separate lives these days. I work away from home quite a lot and keeping track on the forum not only keeps me sane and out of the pub but also I can still be part of home life a bit even though I'm not there :vom::vom:

My guess is that there's little checking up - most of us males can't think that deeply! There might be a bit of 'wishing I was part of that bit of her life'

Random thoughts.

Good for you. God forbid that my OH should read some of my postings

speaking of which, how did it go with that christmas present?

Hmmm well I didn't do too well. I just kind of wrapped it up as well as I could and then said that DD1 had started to open it  . After xmas I just hid it in a cupboard. When he was decorating the loo he asked where it was so he could hang it in there. I just told him I had a different (rather large) pic that would go better in there. No mention since. It may be a while until I dare get shot of it but when I do it'll come on here for the BHWT.

I posted a couple of days ago about my quest to add two beautiful buff orpingtons to my flock of six girlies.

Well, now that Mr Sneaky knows what you want, if he's got any sense he will redeem himself by getting them for you.:lol:

Hear Hear

But as it's coming up to Valentine's Day, could he simply be looking for ideas of things that would be wanted - aren't men supposed to be useless at that kinda thing, so he could be being clever ....................................

Nah, doubt it

My OH has no interest in the forum whatsoever - I'm often saying "someone on the forum says .... " and I just get  . I often show the family people's photos though - the boys love them but OH again goes  . I was hoping to persuade him on a walk-in run or an extra chicken but no joy so far. (I think I could sneak a chicken past him, not sure about the run :? .)

When I got my second Eglu and another 4 hens, Him Indoors didn't clock them for a fortnight.

I was then able to say truthfully "what....that old thing....I've had it for ages".

I might just try it - this morning, OH said "there's still a fan heater in the garage" (from when our central heating went kaput). I said no. He said yes, there is. I said, no, I returned the ones we borrowed. He said, grumpily, come and see then. Guess what it was?

So maybe an extra eglu might get mistaken for a ..... new plant, a bird table?
