Luthien
Lovely picture. Your Eglu looks turquoise! Now there's an idea for a guest colour! OOOO yeah and for the cube too I'd love that! Should do a poll of guest colours most wanted and hopefully Omlet will see and do one in that colour
Ain't Nobody Here
Never noticed that . Lovely colour . Edit: they're both out now (after quite a while) and the nestbox is empty .
bronze
I think a bright ruquoise would be too harsh but if its bordering on a petrol blue...... WOuld look lovely with black chooks If they did head to tail they might fit another in.

feemcg
We had a thread yonks ago about which colours of eglu we'd like and I said turquoise - I think it would go lovely with some of the existing colours
superjules
Lovely photo of your beautiful chooks. I have a blue eglu too - but turquoise would be extra specially fab! Doesn't yellow attract flies? The kids' little tykes slide is yellow and in summer it's always covered in insects.

Doesn't yellow attract flies? The kids' little tykes slide is yellow and in summer it's always covered in insects. That is an urban myth. My Yellow Eglu doesn't attract flies at all. Ages before I bought it I ventured to suggest that on a thread as I had been led to believe the same, and it started what can only be described as a healthy debate on the subject!! There is a move to ask the boffs to introduce a Primrose Eglu. That would be pretty.

Ain't Nobody Here
It never ceases to amaze me how threads can go off on completely wild tangents - all I said was "look at my cute chickens sharing a nestbox" .
Luthien
Sorry ANH, kind of got excited about colours I think your girls are very pretty what type is the black one?
Ain't Nobody Here
No need to apologise, it wasn't a complaint - I think it's really funny . Thanks for the compliment Luthien - she's a Pied Suffolk .
nicki9
The chickens look gorgeous, they are really cute in there, I love the way they cram together, sit on top of each other and the next minute are squabbling over a piece of spaghetti! Just like my kids! Turquoise would be gorgeous, the blue at the moment is lovely, and the purple, and the orange, not that I'm biased though!!! Primrose - there's a thought, baby pink - may get a bit grubby! diamante for real bling maybe - now all these celebs are looking at eglus I would love a real emerald green!!! MedusA
Purple and green!!!!!! I've said this before somewhere on a thread Purple where the colour normally is and green where the grey bit is! I have mix'n'matched my purple and green eglus, with the green eglu having a purple egg port and door and vice versa. Looks funky and the girls don't seem to mind! Sorry about your thread ANH. Your girls look very cosy and cute in their "turquoise" eglu!
clucky1
I would really like the main colour to be the beautiful 'seaside blue' with yellow edging. A bit like seaside beach-huts - it would remind me of the seaside
