Guest
who is your favourite singer/band? Choose some girls names from some of their lyrics maybe or name them after your favourite bands/singers? Mine are named after characters in Tennyson poems (except for Bea who was named before we got her, she's since been re-christened Princess Bea )
The Dogmother
They'll probably be reddish with black tail and neck feathers.

The Dogmother
Our hens are mostly named after songs and singers from the 60s and 70s, my daughter named the bunnies HunnyBunny and Cupcake, the cats are Georgie (after Rosie's BF at the time) and Biscuit because he looks like one. Rhapsody
Mine are all named out of the lyrics of Bohemian Rhapsody - there are plenty of names to choose from! Also I have no girly gene and didnt want anything 'fluffy' if you know what I mean
The Dogmother
Fatima always makes me think of Fatima's Hand - moslem symbol of their faith; the 5 fingers stand for the 5 'pillars (rules) of Islam'. But then I used to live in a moslem country. http://www.geocities.com/oguzbalaban/handoffatima.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamsa Rosie has a jewelled Fatima's hand charm, which I bought her when she was little for luck and to protect from evil. hillfamily
well this is how we thought up all the names for our girls............. Babs........a pepperpot from Omlet named after Babs in 'THe Chicken Run' Ginger........a from Omlet named because of her colour Twinkle.........an Amber Star so, twinkle twinkle little star Belle..........because she's beautiful (she's an Amber Star but with no AS markings) Annie and Clarabel........both rescued ex batts, named after Thomas the Tank Engines carriages which are also the same colour Mabel and Millie the Bantam Babes..........DD and I had a long drive home from Jimmy's Farm (where they came from) to think about these names and just thought they sounded nice for such little babies Gerty.........an ex batt named after Gertrude Jekyll (my fav garden designer) and now we're getting a cube...........so will have to think up some new names as we will get 2 or 3 more girls
