AMO
After months of hardly any eggs my lot have finally sorted themselves out! For the first time in 2008 I ran out of space in my egg trays and had to use spare boxes! Long may it continue!! Egluntyne
I love the trays. Where are they from?
AMO
Hi Egluntine The trays were from a little gift shop in Solihull - I think they were about £2 each so a real bargain - I wish I had got more because they stack away neatly. Scooby
That's fabulous. I'm not at all! Wish my girls would get a move on!
Snowy
Wonderful AMO! It's that time of year isn't it! I had my first white egg of the year today - means I now have all 10 laying!
AJuff
Lovely selection there. As soon as mine lay then they're either eaten or taken away. Not only does my son give his teacher 6 a week but he has now stolen two beautiful blue eggs, one green and a white egg to give to his girlfriend! He's only 8! Any others laid this week will go to the youth group who'll be baking and making a mess in my kitchen this Friday. Will I ever have eggs for me? Guest
Spring has truly sprung We have gone from 1 egg most days to 1/2 a dozen a day, not full capacity, we have 11 hens at the momnet, but we are getting there We even swapped a dozen for some holly the other day Probably doesn't sound like a brilliant swap but it is to discourage a staffie out of our garden A big pile of your own hens eggs is a lovely sight to see
