Karen & co.
Some of you may be aware that we lost Pippin this week , and Sam is still holding on by the skin of her teeth Whilst putting the girls away last night OH said it seems strange only having 9 chooks, and perhaps we should get a couple more How good is that? Trouble is I want more rescue girls and a few 'fancy' girls so it will be decision time soon We are going away to Ireland for Easter, but I'm hoping to put dibs on a few girls so we can pick them up asap when we get back!!! clucky1
I am truly sad to hear of your loss. I haven't had to go through that yet (it must be awful) but it must only be a good thing to look forward to the future. You just need to make the descision now - harder said than done. mayflower
Hi Karen and Co. So sorry to hear of your loss. Hope you have a great time on holiday. What part of Ireland are you going to or are you travelling all over? I love the place. Last time we stayed around County Clare in a cottage. I wonder if there are special Irish chicken breeds lol ? Karen & co.
Hello! We're staying in a cottage near the beach we did plan to take the dogs, so it's only as far as Wexford, but we left it too late to book a dog friendly place but they enjoy the kennels, as the girls ruin them but I hate them going, the house is just too still OH is from Belfast, and his sister is hoping to come down and we'll meet in Dublin one day, which would have been tricky with the dogs anyway She makes me laugh, as she is coming by train, as it's such a long journey, I haven't the heart to tell her lots of people drive further than that to collect chickens Karen x
