Christian
I loved the show.I thought Jill Scott was great casting - what a gorgeous looking lady of traditional size I agree with you there Cinnamon, she was fantastic. Thought she would have been older though? Where did that hairdresser come from - I can't remember him in the books, but he was a nice addition to the cast. I thought I had missed that from the books too. He did tie in nicely though. Brought everything together well. Can't wait for the series. Beautiful landscape and thoroughly enjoyable. AMO
OH and I watched this yesterday afternoon and thought it was brilliant!! Will have to go and get the books now. OH used to work in South Africa late 80-90's and can remember clubs just like the 'Go go handsome mans bar' Especially one called the 'Why not?' Can't wait for the series and hope they keep the format.

AMO
Colin Salmon plays sidekick to Judi Dench as M is a few of the last films - don't think he was in Casino Royale but I may be wrong

Ain't Nobody Here
Watched it on replay the other night - really enjoyed it . Went out for lunch with 3 friends on Wednesday - you'll never guess who was sitting at the next table . Mr McColl Smith . I was early so was trying to eavesdrop but couldn't really catch anything they were saying .
Guest
didn't you say you'd seen some other author in starbucks? can't wait to go out with you!
Ain't Nobody Here
Oh you know me, always lunching with the stars . (The restaurant I was in is right opposite that Starbucks). J K Rowling was at the table next to me in Starbucks last Friday (she's often in there but always alone - my friend and I often think we should ask her to join us, she looks like a right Billy-nae-mates ). Ian Rankin's often in there too and I have seen Mr McColl Smith in there once too . They do all live very close by so it's not that surprising, I suppose .
