Popcorn
Awww, good decision Sarah. Devon will have a fab time. We used to go every year when we were younger. It's a 'must do'. We stick to the smaller fests these days where the loos are a bit friendlier ( ) and it's a bit less hectic - although mayeb once my babies have grown upo a bit, I might fish out my festival hat again Have a great time Devon! Nicola H
I spent 3 hours last night trying to book tickets for the Leeds festival for my son and his mates..........We managed to get 3 tickets just before they sold out, my son is now a happy bunny it is his first festival and he will be camping out all weekend, I dread to think what state he will be in when he returns.......... little chickadee
If portaloos are the only problem http://www.presentsformen.co.uk/brand/2/product-PFM-Shewee%AE-5318/ http://www.presentsformen.co.uk/brand/3/product-PFM-Unisex-Happy-Pee-and-Uriwell-5594/ I love my festivals personally, but I go to accoustic stuff, so it's probably a bit more civilised! Paola
I've just found myself stumping up for my youngest son to go to the Leeds Festival. The funniest thing has just happened....him being on the last minute with everything...his friend's mother who is getting the tickets naturally wanted cash, so we have just been down to the cash machine. I was drawing the money out, with my 6 foot shaven headed son actually standing guard, when two chaps walked past and said to me...."Everything all right Duck? Need any assistance?!!" He does look a bit menacing in the dark. They were flustered and embarrassed when I said everything was OK, he was my son....but how kind of them! That is soooooo funny Lovely to see people are happy to ask if you needed any help, people are more then happy to walk past these days
Egluntyne
Shewees have been mentioned before. They don't take my fancy. She'll have a fab time Cinnamon. She'll appreciate her home comforts when she gets back.
Clash City Rocker
We went to Cornbury last year and we are going to Wychwood this year who have Duffy and The Divine Comedy, it is only about 5 years away so we haven't yet decided whether or not to camp. Hope you manage to get tickets for your daughter, and it is a shame about Scouting For Girls we missed a chance to see them when they were just becoming known at a local club Why does it take "5 years" to decide if your camping or not? I'm off to "Strummercamp 2008" a really great festival, this year at Macclesfield Rugby Club (Jet-set!!!) Bank Holiday weekend, end of May, and Yes it rains every year. We may also go to the "Big Chill" @ Malvern in August.
Popcorn
There's a few goodies in Leicester. Summer Sundae at DeMontfort Hall is always brilliant, and in a small village called Wymswold they have a mini glastonbury called Glastonbudget. I can also vouch for the loo's being well maintained too. No need for a shewee!
