I've spent the afternoon power washing three Eglus and runs.

 

Am completely exhausted.

 

The ex-batts free ranged for a couple of hours too. Lovely to watch them.

Been lovely here today too no April showers so far but it did cloud over an hour or so ago. I have firmly kept my washing indoors today so as not to tempt fate, I would like a couple of hours on the allotment with OH this evening.

There's a huge ball of red fire climbing into the sky here, burning off all the mist in the air . I really hope this means we are going to have a nice day, the builders doing mum's extension want to get the roof done today

I agree, spring proper seems a bit reluctant

 

The wind is so cold here today it seems to be getting in through all the nooks and crannies and the sun is coming and going.

 

The forecast for tomorrow is cold and wet and not much better for the weekend, at least I got my couple of hours on the allotment last night

It's really warm here! I've just been down the garden to clear out the little shed to put my chicken feed in when they arrive, and I've done it in glorious sunshine wearing jeans and a vest top! (and wellies, of course)
