What sort of spring weather are you having?

Recommended Posts

We've had a thunderstorm crashing and flashing overhead for about an hour now. There is no wind so its not blowing over. It was lovely and sunny when I finished work at 2pm but by the time I got home it was chucking it down.

The girls are feeling neglected as they can see I am in but there is no way I am going up the garden to see them in this! We live fairly high up (well high for Norfolk) so no fear of flooding for us but I hope those of you in low lying places are not getting it.

Here in Warwickshire its a mixture of sunny spells with big white fluffy clouds. The weather over the weekend was really  just when you thought it was safe to go out and start something it would chuck it down really, really heavily.

Roll on Summer!!

warm sunny intervals followed quickly by sharp downpours of rain or hail.

I've had my washing out for most of the day but it is still not dry and the wind is cold. The sunny intervals are lovely but short lived, it rains every time my YD decides to put her cycling helmet back on and go outside

Looking forward to this week supposed to be warming up and dry it's been so cold and wet we are below freezing every night. Our spring bulbs are up and should bloom in about a week or 10 days if we get the warmer weather and sun. We are quite high and don't have problems with flooding but because of the rain and snow melt there is a flood watch for most of the area. ahh spring
