Lesley
I love the two latest additions, I've also got the clockwork chicken on file as I was going to keep changing mine. I changed to the blue cockerel yesterday for a couple of hours but then realised how few animations there are so went back to chicken/worm. there is still an animated white chicken just waiting for a home! I haven't seen the one from Jo before. Is this mostly a 'female' thing? (sorry Richard!) Is it because we have a better sense of humour or because we keep playing with this forum instead of doing what we are supposed to be doing! I have emailed James to ask him to stop adding things to the site as I must get some work done Lesley
Jo M
mine is just a boring picture rather than an animation - but I there's a few here.... http://images.shoppingsavvy.com/Chickens-Images.html - there's loads of them. by the way - why does "freshly laid egg" come up under my picture (I like it as a nickname but didn't think it up myself)? Anyone know?
Lesley
The 'freshly laid egg' bit refers to the rankings. James explains them on page one of this topic, just go back a bit and you will find it. I don't think your picture is boring - I like it. Also, just looked at that site, some brilliant pictures, I particularly like 'It's mine' on pg 7 Lesley
SarahJo
Didn't mean to Pip you to the post Nicola, I hope you weren't after the hatching chick. Having said that i reckon the clockwork chook is cool, and is Ginger too like one of yours!!!. Sarah Ginger Pepper

Richard
Yes I'm an eggspert; my life is complete. Well, perhaps ....
Lesley
Congratulations Richard - only another 50 to go now! Lesley PS Just so that I am 'on topic' - I think you should do an avatar of your other chicken and rotate them, one of your girls will be feeling left out! Mrs Frugal
Ha! Ha! Congratulations Richard! Eggspert status at last! Now then, this poses a question What are we going to call you in another 50 postings? You surely can't be an all knowing SuperHEN, can you? Perhaps James will have to come up with something more manly !!
Nicola H
Hi Kate I agree Richard can not be a superhen he will have to be a super cockeral. Like you say James will have to change it. I am still around by the way but staying a little bit quieter, I have been reading all the postings and received a private message from Lesley I think I sent a reply back but was not sure how to send a p.m.
Richard
Hi I think this is getting a touch near the knuckle! Please no more suggestions as I can see where it is going .... I'm debating whether to start my own thread and just post 50 times on it to get my numbers up. Would that be cheating? Doris tells me its OK (see my latest offering on the gallery - I do eggsactly what Doris tells me to, she is most definately the boss around here). Nicola H
Richard, no more cockeral jokes kate says you should be a super rooster that sounds better. I looked at Doris earlier on the gallery very funny I was wondering who she belonged to.
Lesley
I see there is a new Avatar courtesy of Stephanie - thank goodness our hens don't lay as fast! There is still a lot of material out there which is suitable for use as an avatar for anyone who is interested. Lesley
Sammi J
Hi Okay, I must be doing something realllllllllly wrong because not only can I not find a small Avatar but I dont know how to put one on my profile. Also no Avatar's are showing in the gallery in 'our profile' section, is this just mine or is it the same for everyone?? Confussed! This is Sammi J, Avatar and chicken less signing off! -x-

Lesley
Kate I do like your new avatar although it is a shame you've had to change - it was always so quick to use or check on someones posts when you just used the avatar to whizz through. Very 1940's Lesley
Mrs Frugal
Very 1940s? Funny you should say that but I've been looking for a 1940s housewife avatar and for some reason, they don't do one ! If she had a headscarf and wrap around pinny, she'd be perfect!! Everyone's going to think I've flipped.............. ...............too late, eh??
Nicola H
Now what makes you think that Kate, I don't think you have flipped you are just as crazy as the rest of us. I agree with Lesley I can't get used to this new avatar sorry........... I don't think you should have to change.
Mrs Frugal
My friends don't call me Crazy Kate for nothing !! It was going to be confusing if there were 2 blue cockerels so I'm reverting to character!! You'll have to look out for me doing the washing up instead! Chances are, if I'm not on here, that's what I'm doing at home anyway!!! P.S - I just can't get that baked on Lasagne off that plate ! Louise
I decided to go for a non chicken one too when I found this cat one it reminds me of little Mr chips and it moves too - way cool
Nicola H
Like the new avatar Louise, I saw that one yesterday when I was looking on the internet, it reminds me of my cat as well when she gets a fright from the chickens.
Lesley
The cats I look at always look like that - usually because I'm chasing them off (or trying to - now I have to hobble and they just laugh!) Lesley
Louise
Chips the cat he looks like, has an annoying habit of 'anouncing' he is home by yowling at the top of his voice. Which is okay but he usually comes home at about 3am and that is what the picture made me think of
