Wednesday morning nutter

Recommended Posts

Yes, I was more shaken than anything else - really thinking about what could have happened if we'd have reacted differently. Having Stefan in the back and me heavily pregnant made D think twice about responding. Best thing really.

I think he got so wound up because we didn't repsond and I expect he felt rather silly shouting the odds to thin air across the forecourt, which wound him up even more.

I did think to myself, how this kind of thing rarely happens and he's probably took his bad mood out on us, especially if he's running late for work, had argument with his wife, had some bad news that morning etc, then got caught in queue at the garage.

Still doesn't justify his behaviour though. I hope I don't see him again. It was a local garage to us.

We had someone park across the front of our drive Kate yesterday. I had to put a note on the car to ask him not to park. I made sure it was a very polite note, as I didn't want any come-back from it. It's common sense to me though. You just don't block other people in. What about a case on emergency?

Sounds awful Gina  What a moron - you would have thought he would have kept his mouth shut when he saw little Stefan in the car, I cant believe he behaved in such a way.

You have a very calm and sensible husband in Darren, I dont know what my OH would have done - but he certainly wouldnt have been as calm as you two and would have probably given the bloke a mouthful!

Like the others said, he was just probably a frustrated man on a very bad day and you were in the crossfire. There is no excuse for his behaviour though, especially with a child in the car.

I encounter verbal abuse on a daily basis and have learnt to ignore it, like Rhapsody said - sometime we just have to laugh, and thank ourselves lucky we are decent people!! :D

was he driving a BMW or a merc? (bet he had a suit on aswell? )
