One of my colleagues (yes there is one that I actually like - just one!) has been on the GMTV "sofa factor" competition. He's in the final and its VOTE time.

He is a media studies teacher and he actually used to be in the class next door to me. He is an extremely nice chap - he sent a lovely email around the school today saying "its amazing that a short fat bloke like me could win something like that!".

 

The kids had worked out by about 5 past 9 how to vote more than once - who says there is no vote rigging any more??? Apparantly it was the biggest web vote they have had for a competition!

Yep, kids have the computer age sorted!!

Sad for all us still using pen and paper, though console yrself, I cant see a box full of sim cards being the same as a love letter, or cards........
