My digital, wireless, weather station machine is registering an outside temperature of 21.6oc in the shade

 

Can't be right It is 7.30pm, at the begginning of May and I live in the North of Scotland

You are lucky, it's only 13.6c in NE England, it has been a lovely warm day i'm aching now though, too much gardening.

Ali mine is registering 17.9 and its 10 to 8 and still sunny - the temp was up to 22.0 degrees here too - its wonderful - very stiff after gardening too- loads to catch up on and a walk with the old dog too. Managed to get our first lettuce leaves and they were lovely tonight - plants need this heat to grow as the greenhouse is slow.

I just went outside to shut the Eglus run and my terracotta thermometer is currently at 20c,but mine is a south facing garden and the brick wall its attached to will be leaching heat.The hottest my garden has ever been was an el-scorchio heat of 39c!!!

 

Good good i love the sun,but having a skinhead does have drawbacks-like a sore scalp afterwards!

im sure it is only nice because my new wheelbarrow hasnt been delivered yet so i am at a standstill with gardening! im sure when it arrives the UK will blame me for tornados or something

28+ on Sunday but back to only 25 yesterday, brrrrrr!, so much mre comfortable for gardening!
