abwsco Posted May 13, 2008 Share Posted May 13, 2008 Sarah, I got mine a month earlier than expected and found out 6 days before so I was in mega panic mode -lol I put extra grit mixed in with the food and also in a seperate container. Phosphorus Posted May 14, 2008 Share Posted May 14, 2008 Don't panic - not as big as you think. We went with a cat carrier and the box that had my printer in it. We only needed the one box and used the printer box - they had ample room in it (6 chooks) and the breeder said we could have got 10 in there easily. Just a reasonable sized cardboard box that you can cut some slits in for air holes, put some newspaper and bedding in the bottom and be able to shut and tape up the top (we took some selotape / duck tape with us).
