How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

I've been driving OH automatic since I had an op on my left ankle, I always remember to put deisel in not petrol, my car is a petrol engine. Yesterday had a horrible day had to deal with the parents and rels of a 18 month old who died unexpectedly, driving home went to fill the car pulled off the forecourt and I had put petrol in it towed home by the RAC man who was lovely and said it happens all the time, cost me £300 to have the car drained & a new filter, i wont do that again

still better than the £6K for a new engine, apparently some folks keep driving & try to get home instead of turning off ASAP completely trashes the engine

I always double check as we have a diesel and petrol car but I always have to check again just to check I haven't got the wrong one in.

I dread doing just that, I drive a diesel and our other 2 cars are both petrol.

Most cars have that label inside the fuel cover saying "diesel only" but they're easy to ignore when you see them time after time and especially when you have other things playing on your mind.

 

A friend of mine keeps a roll of masking tape marked up with "diesel only" and sticks it actually over the fuel cap after filling up ready to read next time. Easier to remember when you need to pull it off before you can fill up!

The worst I've done so far is to put the sopued up version of unleaded in my car, its for the sports cars apparently.

Bad luck!

 

I drive a petrol and OH drives a diesel. I get round the what do I put in question by making him do it all the time!!! That way it can't be my fault!!

It's easily done, bad luck, it happened to my OH a few weeks ago when he was stressed out and tired. The AA man said it was the fifth time that week that he had been called out to the same problem.

I saw a car yesterday with a big sticker on the outside of the petrol cap, you know, the little door, that said PETROL on it. I wonder if there is a garage selling them somewhere.

the car is doing fine OH has forgiven me given the circumstances, I'm seeing my consultant next month so will ask if its OK for me to drive my own manual car, OH is itching to get his Merc back he's been slumming it in my Corsa - wouldn't have the same problem with that. The Merc is nice but its so big & difficult to park, I'm only 5' 1" & have trouble seeing out of the back window - thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it. I've had lots of lovely people in to see me to cheer me up, smiley babies and really funny senior people (cheeky lot they are)
