Bokashi Bran what a difference!

Recommended Posts

Because I've used Bokashi Bran right from the beginning of henkeeping, I really had no idea what a difference this makes to hens' poohs and odour!

I have run out....entirely my fault and did'nt order until Wednesday evening, so weekends do'nt count! All I can say is roll on delivery day!!

Hi Mayflower, hmmm, I haven't got round to buying bokashi bran yet: I've been trying to check out different suppliers' prices. Wiggly Wigglers have a special offer on, I see from a helpful posting here, but the usual non-offer price seems quite pricey when you add on the postage (something like £4.50 I seem to remember) :?

Any suggestions of a good place to buy bokashi bran?

The wiggly wigglers one is £3 for postage (£14 for 2x3kg) which I thought to be excellent value.

I bought my first lot of bran a month or so ago when Lily was doing lots of sloppy poos. It has cleared those up and I have really noticed that the odour of the eglu is even less noticeable than before (using just garlic powder).

It's pricey but I think I'll carry on using it
