susanbb
George was truly amazing. I hope he gets through to the final.
Egg Lou
My teenage Daughter & parents know Charlie.. met him on a cruise a couple of years ago.. he was doing talent show singing even then ..at 8!! Agree with judges though as he should have kept with his usual songs! Think that song may have cost him a place
Mrs Frugal
Loved Hoop La La and was really disappointed they didn't get through but George was terrific - that lad has so much charisma!
chelsea
I must admit I shed a tear when Charlie didnt get through The way he was so sweet to the other couple of chaps who got through( hugged them) was admirable in a young lad.
BeckyBoo
I think I was as impressed with the way those lads carried themselves as by their performances (altho I only caught a bit of Charlies act and didn't see his other performance.) But they were both so mature, specially Charlie when he didn't get through, can't imagine mine at that age being so grown up. George is really that show was AMAZING, the dancing in the rain bit was inspired. I thought he was BRILL. I like Signature but I'm not sure how they'll think of anything else to keep it going, the original act was the best. Mrs Bertie
Charlottechicken
I don't usually watch this sort of thing but I am getting quite hooked on it I thought last night's programme could easily have been the final (apart from the magic act and troupe of tiny dancers). Shame for Charlie, he is so mature to take all the comments after performing too. At that age I think I would have been in floods of tears I must admit I thought Strike were not very in time with each other and thought one of them missed a move Pity Hoop LaLa didn't get through, they are perfect for the Royal Variety Performance, and those Urban Gipsies really made me laugh, and the outfits were brilliant (I thought they were Lene Lovich doubles at first!!) I like Signature but I'm not sure how they'll think of anything else to keep it going, the original act was the best. I agree. I absolutely loved Signature the first time I saw them, but I really think they are a one trick pony, albeit a very good trick!
clucking mad
dont want a singer to win this time, although last night 2 were put through has the guy who does the westlife impressions or something already been or is he tonight
Cooks
I thought Charlie was pants.. sorry loved him the first time, but to me his parents killed his chances that song was terrible and made him terrible. Cheesy and horrible. His parents should be ashamed of themselves IMO it reeked to me of them trying to cash in on their sons ability. I am sure they had some deal going with this friend who wrote the song and would hae loved it if it was popular... shame that! I thought George was totally awesome and I hope he wins it to be honest. The girls at the end who's name escpaes me for the mo, was excellent also and I wouldn't mind if she won, although I feel her career will already be sorted now as Simon really thinks she's 'something special' The impressionist guy is on tonight! Mrs Frugal
Her name was Faryl, I think and she was terrific - bound to have a great future ahead of her. Looking forward to the final tomorrow now. Should be good. I was sad that Hoop La La didn't get through on Wednesday - their superhero routine was excellent .
Cooks
yes Sorry Farryl, lovely name aswell I might add... Hoop La La were brilliant and when he went in the air I was cracking up laughing!. Edited May 30, 2008 by Guest
Egluntyne
I watched it last night for the first time ever. Faryl was terrific. Not sure where the football trick chap expects to go with his act. Once you've seen it.....you've seen it.....and he dropped the ball twice.
Cooks
I felt sorry for the football guy though, because on the additional show run on ITV2 there was an interniew and he wasn't using it as an excuse but he said they had made them re-he"Ooops, word censored!" on day and he'd asked if he could go home and have a bath to soak his legs (which would be really aching) and they wouldn't let him. So I did like him... he's great.. your right a limited act.. doesn't have too many avenues does it, but on the ITV2 show he did the trick he hadn't had time for and it was amazing.... Mrs Frugal
I liked the football guy and felt so sorry for him when he dropped the ball but felt that his act might be a bit limiting for the final? Hopefully all the good acts that didn't get through to the final will have careers ahead of them now they've had their moment in the spotlights. susanbb
I absolutely loved Hoop La la. They were what the programme was all about.I read in one of the tabloids today that they have "allegedly" bagged themselves the Hula Hoops advert. Hope it's true. chelsea
think that Nemisis (dance group) and Escala (violins/classical group) should go through tonight. Escala were very good and played one of my favourite songs (live and let die) A strange show IMO ...the woman dancing on her own (to beyonce) is no more talented to any other woman in the country - I can dance like that in my living room! The 2 lads singing roberta flack had poor attitudes, I thought at one point matey with the guitar was going to smash it in anger when they were getting their judges comments. Guest
Escala are extremely good but not very original. 'Bond' did it first! They're too like 'Bond' http://www.bondmusic.net/ but easily the best act tonight

gooner.girl
.the woman dancing on her own (to beyonce) is no more talented to any other woman in the country - I can dance like that in my living room! Oh go on then Chelsea! If you enter next year i'll vote for you! You're right though. How the HECK did she get through to the semi final??! Was a bit pants tonight i thought. The right 2 acts went through but most of the rest were weak. That lad that sung whilst the other played the guitar was in a total huff. Talk about sore loser! The football guy was really good (must have been to be at "Ooops, word censored!"nal for a while! ) I know i am biased being a football fan but that was REAL talent - and a bit different from all the singing and dancing that went on. My faves are Kate and Gin. They won't win but the sentimental in me wants them to. I think Farryl deserves to win though Escala were very good tonight. You should see those 2 blokes on ITV2 just now - one stood with his hands on his hips and the other with his arms folded...bloke tried to interview them and they werent having any of it.....they obviously thought they were the best!! I agree about the football fella, I suppose only us footy fans would appreciate his amazing talent - some of his ball skills were , especially when he was doing the breakdancing - it was like the ball was glued to him! I love Kate and Gin, would love to see them win.
