Dogs!!! Who'd have them!!! Grrrr...........

Recommended Posts

Nor am I Liz............... but they do grow on you :roll:

....and don't mention seatbelts......

When Carl's new car was a couple of days old, we had to go and collect some ducks. We put a box for them in the back and let Jazz sit on the back seat. She'd already eaten one car harness so I made sure to keep an eye on her. I turned half way round, stroked her and talked to her. I didn't get out of the car when Carl collected the ducks and we were only there for a couple of minutes. Same on the way back - a 15 minute journey - I stroked her, talked to her............

When we got home, she had mangled another dog harness and chewed three holes in the car seat belt :evil:

She certainly lives up to her nickname 'Devildog' (birthdate = 6.6.06  )

:lol: I love this thread! I seem to have known quite a few Monsieur (Madame) Mangetouts in my time- my father's LabXHound used to open the fridge door and help himself so my mum made him put a padlock on it- the determined dog just ate through the fridge door  , then had the beef joint my mum had locked away

He also ripped up all the lino in the kitchen once and ate half of it- he didnt half whimper when he went to the loo for a couple of days. But his finest hour was when he ran off and crashed a wedding, they took him to the reception  and phoned our number off his ID tag. Said they'd put him in a taxi home, a black cab pulled up outside at about 11 pm and a dead drunk and horribly bloated dog fell out. he threw up in the front garden and then attacked my father, before falling asleep in a snoring heap in the living room. Next day he lay by the fire letting off horrible beery gases and groaning, never seen a dog with a hangover before

I'm loving this thread, it makes my dog look like a  although her love of snooping in handbags has caused her to have an overdose of heart medication, luckily we got salt water down her in time, and  friends as she empties all their sanitary products all over the floor!

My dog is currently infatuated with our neighbour, who until a few weeks ago she has paid no attention to over the last 13 years! The first thing she does on a morning is see if he's out in his garden and if he is, she will not eat her breakfast or want to go out for a walk but go and see him!
