lisaroo2
...nothing, absolutely nothing! And what's more I've actually enjoyed it. For the first time in two months, ok its not that long, I've had a day with hubbie-to-be just lounging on the sofa in the conservatory, eating rubbish, snoozing and chook watching. The doc has been on at me to do this for sometime, I've still got to gain a stone in weight after my bout of 'flu a couple of weeks ago. It's definetly been a refreshing change after the few weeks of the 'flu and redundancy news and I don't feel abit guilty at all. Normally I'm running around doing 10 jobs at once, not today. The house is a tip, I've got application forms to fill in, a wedding dress still to sort out etc etc etc. But it can all just wait!!! A pretty pointless post really, but just thought I'd share it with you.
Goosey Lucy
Good for you. A day off is often what's needed to recharge your batteries. Enjoy your day off, you deserve it!
lisaroo2
Thanks Lucy. I just know I'm gonna hate myself tommorrow when I think of all the things that I could have done! Never mind, 'what is life if full of care, etc etc...'
Tina C
Sounds like you are having a great day. Our little girl has just gone off to a party and sleepover and I intend to curl up on the sofa with the cat and read soon - once OH stops watching TV (Moto GP) Oh, and after I have cleaned out the eglus.... Laura & CTB
I'd go insane if I didnt take a day off every month just to do nothing - enjoy it and do more of it, you'll definately feel better for it
lisaroo2
Thanks for all your posts. If anyone out there has any magic cures for weight gain PLEASE feel free to share them. It sounds like I'm having a real moan here but its not meant to be like that. Since I've lost the weight have become really conscious about my little bod, my arms are really skinny and I'm worried about the hot weather as I don't feel confident enough to wear sleeveless tops like I would normally do. And don't get me started on my legs...Ooooooh am going now as it really is turning into a moan.
Snowy
Glad you've had a day doing nothing - it does recharge the batteries for you. Every once in a while (especially if it's raining again) the kids and I have a duvet day - watching telly and eating junk food. Makes a change from all the everyday go go go that we do! Now, advice for putting on a stone - choose from any one of the following: small bar of chocolate, slice of cake, half a pack of biscuits. Take your pick, any one will do it for me Sorry to be flippant, I know it can be so hard for some to put weight on and it is just as bad as not being able to lose it! Hope you succeed though, and glad you are on the mend.

Shirl
How I remember when I was so thin people thought I was ill. Not any more they just think I'm a pig . Would you like me to send my spare 1 1/2 stone in the post? Mind you I'd hate to see what Royal Mail would charge for that
