I am getting a labrador puppy in about 4 weeks time so have been very interested to read about the getting them to poo on command thing! Will definately be trying that one! More piccies asap please!! Twice we have asked to see a dog in the Meet and Greet room only to be told someone has reserved the dog in question. We lost heart a bit - why didn't they put it on the details?. Then we decided to wait to see what condition all our boundary fences are in and ask for a home-check first, then if we do see a dog we feel would be suitable, at least we will be ready to take it home. Carl has always wanted a black labrador so we were looking at that type of rescue dog. Wayne would be ideal for Carl The Dogs Trust at Evesham had a lot of greyhounds which would be suitable apart from the chickens aspect Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

One Man Banned Posted May 13, 2006 Share Posted May 13, 2006 just picked up this thread 1 dogs paws can smell gorgeous (molly's do) and joe has great fun most nights before Molly goes to bed by asking to sniff her pads! 2 Molly is VERY well trained. If we need Mol to do her business we say "go on the grass" and after bladder emptying we say "go on the grass again". and as for Wayne he is Gorgeous - joe always wants a choc lab - our friends have recently got a bright white husky puppie and he is fab, comes out with some seriously weird noises and is even cuter than that I read about training a guide dog in a magazine the other day and thought how worthwhile a thing it would be then I read that you can't leave them for more than 3 hrs and my world was shattered!
