Guest
I admit that I buy from Ocado, because it suits my ethics. I buy as much as I can from local farmers and farmers' markets though to keep the cost down. I also refuse to buy rubbish from foreign parts I try to not to buy rubbish from anywhere - home or abroad, but most of my sugar, coffee, tea, bananas - in fact a great bulk of the produce I buy is grown in "foreign parts" - fairly traded whenever possible - and the fact that it comes from "foreign parts" does not make it "rubbish"..... we don't have a Waitrose here - M&S will shortly open a food outlet - but Aldi were here first and Somerfield - which is where my shopping happens (and Spudguns for emergencies) as it happens - I think I agree with Superjules - she's being a bit rude and opinionated, and offensive - but, hey, it's the DAILY MAIL!!!! - what do you expect if you read that - if I wanted to read lazy, offensive, sneery xenophobic journalism - that's the very place I would go to find it..... Guest
Budgens!! well spotted Christian... we have always called Budgens "Spudguns" - just to amuse the kids at first - but then it stuck.. even though it was taken over a couple of years ago and is now (technically) a Londis... old habits die hard Phil

Phil I agree - don't know why I read it - always winds me up but it's free and it's on-line. Catherine Tate did it so much better - "RUN children, we're all going to DIE!!!" Now that was funny! Rhapsody
Just because those kind of journalists are safely corralled in the Daily Wail doesnt mean I have to accept what they write. Neo-Nazis are mainly found in the National Front, but that doesnt mean I can laugh off what they stand for.
