Now that is the sort of prezzie I'd really appreciate, but I don't eat chicken of any description! So I'd probably have to opt for the veggie version. Or does it allow you to specify that you don't eat chicken? Is it expensive to go?

Yes, there were a number of people who had Vegetarian meals on the night we were there but I have no idea what food they were served.

happy birthday, looks like you had a great time, its our 10th anaversary next June & I thought I may treat OH & take him to River Cottage, he is a real foody and as I could only afford to get him an M&S tee shirt this year I need to do something special - did I miss the resuce?

Yes the rescue was yesterday (Sunday). you were lucky, someone failed to collect the 31 (thirty one) chickens that they had ordered, so instead of getting away for 2.00pm it was after 7.00pm when we left. We had to arrange with people who were expecting their chickens in August to come yesterday and collect them early, though they seemed quite pleased.
