we live on the outskirts of a village, it's a very small village and we've never really explored it (shame on us!). Anyway, we went to their local Gala today and on the way we passed my dream house! I slammed on the breaks and rushed out to take some photos

What a lovely looking house, maybe you should go and knock on the door! When my Dad announced he wanted to live in the same road as me my OH did a leaflet drop, (He actually put - "accomodation wanted for daft old ***!" ) and we had three replies, none of them on the market and my Dad is now 10 doors up from us!

I was stood at the roadside so I didn't see anything that anyone else wouldn't see who was walking or driving past.

my mum calls thouse type of houses chocolate box houses... used to be on the front of chocolates apparantly...

If a total stranger posted photographs of your house, front and back, on the internet, Poet, without asking your permission, would you be happy? I'm not sure I would.

 

The fact that they might not stray on to this forum is neither here nor there.

 

There is a world of difference between the images on Google earth etc and the in depth photos you have posted of what is indeed a lovely house.
