One of my Croad Langshan Boys was reserve champion at Cheshire County Show yesterday (pen180)

He is quite rare, not many of these birds about & they are now on the rare breeds watch list, so winning yesterday was really great for the breed

No Jules he is a bantam, probably a bit smaller than your girls, you saw Colin he is a large croad & yes HUGE

 

This boy is only one fith of his size.

 

Croads lay Plum coloured eggs they are the only breed to do this

Well done. By the ways my girls are settlin, still have two nervous chickens but Miss Pepperpot isn't chasing them quite so much now (so there all gettin food). Not yet checked the wings, didn't want to distrub them as they were all out and eating. Fingers crossed. Thanks for all the advise.
