Chickaboo
Phoebe and Daphne love to come into the kitchen (stone floor - indulged hens!), the last week the catch on the kitchen door, leading to the rest of the house, has been broken, meaning we can't shut it. Phoebe has used this as a great opportunity to explore the house. As soon as my back is turned she sneaks off, and over the last week I have found her in the following places; in the bedroom, once sitting at the side of the bed, the other peering up at me from the end of the bed Standing watching tv Sitting on the sofa Hiding under the dining room table I honestly think she would be quite happy with a little basket to sleep in and become a house hen! Fortunatley for her there has only been one little 'accident', but needless to say the door is now fixed.
daisymay
that's so funny! my children are desperate for our hens to go in the house. they were tempting them down the garden today and were very disappointed when they headed back to the run. get some pics and put them on the forum fantastic!!! Helly Welly
Don't tell OH, but i purposefully leave the back door open so the chooks can come and explore. I love them coming in the house, i wish they'd learn how to use the cat flap
Chickaboo
Actually thats the other funny thing Phoebe does; we have a cat flap, but she is too big to fit through, however when the door is shut she knocks (pecks!) on the flap untill we let her in
chelsea
that is funny As much as I would love them to come in, my lot cant control themselves and even if they sneak into the kitchen for 2 seconds, they always leave a present for me on my newly washed kitchen mat. Keanie Bean
It's lovely to have them in the house, but I had to bann mine as the Wee man thought it was a good idea to smear any 'pressies' all over the floor. He's such a dirty little muck worm. I'm sure he only does it to get extra baths. Sarah.x
cluckbok
One of ours comes in the house, and then I pick her up and we have a cuddle on the sofa while watching tv! I love it, she sits there all cuddly and made little cluck noises. She doesn't leave us many presents thank goodness!
Ain't Nobody Here
My ES is always bringing a girlie into the house for a visit . They don't stay long though so no pressies yet! They did visit rather a lot when we first got them though .
Helly Welly
In the second picture, they look like they are trying to disguise themselves as ornaments, or statues, just like Scooby and Shaggy used to do when on the run from ghosts

craftyhunnypie
He he - are the hens ordering an eglu or a cube on the laptop? I have 2 cheeky hens that come in the kitchen whenever we open the back door. They start bok bokking wanting a treat. The cat just rolls her eyes!
