Such a happy bunny

Totally silly post alert, but I'm absolutely over the moon, so I just have to share it  . My computer died at the end of last week, after a long and spluttering sickness and I was devastated, actually getting withdrawal symptoms from the forum would you believe.... it was easier giving up caffeine

I actually ended up doing absolutely no worthwhile work at all today, spending as much work time as possible catching up on the forum and neglecting all my work responsibilities

But my gorgeous, much-maligned, but quite simply fabulous husband has come up trumps.... and I got home from work to find a brand new, fully functioning computer waiting for me :D:D

I'm back!!!!!

(Watch out Martin...... I could give you a run for your money now..... a mere 1000 posts a month.... chicken feed :lol::lol::lol::lol: )

Now all said gorgeous hubby has to do is load my camera software onto the computer and I can bombard you with chicken rescue photos on sunday too :D

You have been warned

My hubby gets right on my nerves. I try to malign him but every now and again he does something really thoughtful to make me feel really guilty. :D

Luckily it soon wears off so I can go back to hubby baiting with a clear concience again

Sounds familiar :D Having said that my husband built me a new chicken run on Sunday. He started at 8.30 in the morning and did not finish untill 2.30. He missed his beloved grand prix in the process (bless) :D Its great and the chickens love it to

6 hours Paola :!: That's good going! We started on April 22nd and have got a long way to go yet. The chickens are in it (and my grass is growing well!) but it isn't secure from foxes yet. I think we've made it too big!

Your chook run can never be to big :D My husband is somebody who when he starts something he has to finish it! I lived in South Godstone up untill a year ago. If we were still there I would have sent him round to finish it for you

Hi Paola,

I know South Godstone - St Stephen's was my first school! It would have been nice to have someone so close and even better, someone who could finish off the run really quickly! :D

Kate! Oh no  Pictures of us all covered in chook poo!

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

That sounds like me on a normal day anyway Clare

You've got very little to worry about- I'm a rotten photographer at the best of times

I know Godstone too :D . At least the children and I (when they were much younger) spent many a pleasant afternoon at Godstone Farm :P

The daughter of the people who owned the farm sang in our church choir! Great place!

Have you been to the Rare Breeds centre in Kent? It looks good and I was thinking of going at half-term.

The post totals are not a race!

Is that aimed at me!!! I hope not, I always come last anyway!

I do feel sorry for you Martin. June or July  You must be very disappointed. (I know, this should be somewhere else!)

Touche Martin 8)

I think it was directed at me Ginette.... in my excitement about my new computer I made a silly comment about being able to spend so much time on the forum that I'd outstrip his posting total. It was a joke though Martin, honestly. I couldn't possibly post as much as you do.... you're safe

My daughter went to St Stephens. Such a lovely school. We lived in Carlton Road. Living so close to Godstone Farm was handy also. The Forge on Godstone green does the best bacon doorstep sarnies (oh I do miss Surrey ). Oh have you been to Priory Farm shop?

Yes I used to go to Priory Farm when it was a PYO. Also the children liked to play on the swings and in the sand by the coffee shop. The Farm Shop is so lovely though, I daren't go in there!
