I am trying to sign up to Facebook, fancied a few games of Scrabulous

 

The problem I am having is that there are supposed to be some words typed in a box which you have to copy, and the words do not appear when I try and join I consulted the help menu and it said I should delete cookies and empty the cache which I have done. The words still do not show up

Anybody have any bright ideas on what is going on? I am using a Mac btw.

Have you tried right clicking on where the word should be and choosing 'show picture'?

No, didn't think about doing that. All is well, I signed up using DH's pc. Must be a Mac gremlin. Now I just have to find my way around the Facebook site

i hate those silly words in boxes things, i always get them wrong and don't understand how they prevent fraud, surely anyone can copy them (unless they have computer gremlins of course)

I went off to ask you to play Scrabulous but can't get on to Facebook .

Can anyone tell me why I keep having to log in to Facebook and Scrabulous even though I tick the box to save my log in info .

 

I never used to have to and can't work out why it's changed now.

My computer will never stay logged in to anything and wont remember log in info. Is it something to do with cookies? Unfortunatly not the edible kind. Im sure some clever person on here can tell us...

I've just found out that I have had my privacy settings set so high that "Ooops, word censored!"ody could even search for me . Anyway can somebody invite me to scrabulous too? Easiest way to find me is as the creator of the Omleteers group
