Oh man - what a horrible find.

I would suggest getting the little doe a new neutered boy from a rescue asap to stop her getting lonely. Can I suggest Honey Bunnies in Narborough - Jill is amazing at bonding rabbits & hers always are neutered.

Hope your sister feels better soon

thats a good idea, here old fella was a real bully, I have never heard a rabbit growl before, he was very protective of the little doe & would often bite my sister. She aquired both rabbits from neighbours who were moving & were going to leave the rabbits behind to fend for themselves  my sister is such a softpot she even put up with the aggression from the buck, its a wonder the fox got anywhere near him, the little doe was hiding near to where my sister found the remains, may have been protecting his friend again  I'll have a look for a young neutered buck for her - sister & rabbits are gomming to stay with me soon how do rabbits get along with cats & chickens?

That's awful, I feel so sorry for your poor sister. My rabbits run round the garden with the chickens and the cat and they all get on basically fine, but my rabbits are as big as the cat and he's a big softie so I'm sure if it always works so well. However the problem I have found is that the chickens prefer the rabbit hutch and get irritated with the rabbits for being in what they have claimed as their own so I've had to separate them for that reason as I worry about them not being able to get in their hutch. I'm lucky enough not to have any foxes, thank god.
