The Bantam of the Opera Posted July 13, 2008 Share Posted July 13, 2008 I'm sure its not a chicken, im afraid i dont know which section to put it in, sorry. found in a bush being bothered by some dogs, i,ve done some research and think it looks like a quail, and a domestic type at that. maybe a courtnix? its definately a baby too. if it is a quail i guess ill have to get him a quail friend. i read that quails and chickens cant be kept together. he's eating and drinking too. The Bantam of the Opera Posted July 13, 2008 Author Share Posted July 13, 2008 yeah we thinkit must've escaped too. my sister has been looking after it for about a week and no one knows where it came from, she's asked around all poultry places nearby. it is good at flying though so i assumed it mustve come quite far. so she brought it to me to care for. and thanks for the website link, reading up on it as we speak.
