craftyhunnypie
Picking up a frizzle cockerel at the weekend from my friend. Wanted a cockerel for the lavender pekins & this one was in the same enclosure as the lavender pekins running about with them a couple of weeks back - same age. but unrelated. I will eventually use him for breeding with - for more frizzles. We are so excited! Bumble my cobar cockerel is so quiet. We have come to the conclusion that he only has 5 crows a day in him if that! So the new frizzle boy - had to have a name & it needed to be along the lines of cakes & biscuits (like the lavender pekins). So we are going to call him ............SpongeBob! craftyhunnypie
He's staying with me - he's all mine! So I now have 2 cockerels. Bumble for my big girls & Spongebob for my banteenie cupcakes! Plus any others that I hatch from my Araucana eggs. Candled tonight at day 10. 4 maybe 5 out of 6 fertile. So far both cockerels haveproven quiet & soppy (loveable & like a tickle).
