but I have just had to pay £12.46 for a bale of aubiose (and it had was held together with brown tape).

What has happened.......I went to my usual supplier, they sold me 3 bales at a increased price of £9.99, Usually pay £7.40 and then when they went to get them there was none left. Went to another place which was sold out. Went to the last place and then had to pay that ridiculous amount for the one bale that that they had left. Where has all the aubiose gone and why is it so dear?

Our local places have stopped selling it (according to AnnieP), so I am at a loss with what to do

I use Easibed at £5 a bale and it's great. I couldn't find Aubiose or hemcore near here.

We use Easibed too, like AJuff we could not find a supplier for Auboise or Hemcore. We are quite happy with Easibed.

I don't know why but Hemcore has gone up in price but not that much. Now about £8 a bale.

i got aubiose last week @ £6.50 per bale locally - had never used it before and wasn't sure about size of bales so paid for 6 good job i had gone in the camper van so i had room don't know how long it will last - works well though.

I'd posted a bit ago that I'd been told by one place that it was going up to £10 a bale. I still haven't come across anywhere locally so got Hemcore for £8.46. Mind you that place is still a bit of a drive away Haven't found easybed nearby either!
