Tiggy
Reminded me of when we visted the neighbours with ES, aged a week or so old. Got up to leave & made it to the front door when neighbour said "haven't you forgotten something? ". Hadn't quite got used to him being around, obviously . my mom left me outside the post office when I was a week old, the postman delivered me back about an hour later
Ana's flock
I was extremely focused in making sure my oldest son was happy and settled in the car after putting the shopping in the boot (talking to him constantly, making little noises and telling him the names of all the things we were buying - he was about 2 months old... ), that when we arrived home the phone was ringing, from the supermarket. One kind shopper had spotted my handbag on the 'parent and baby' section of the car park, just as I drove off, so they took the bag to customer services! We do lose a good bundle of brain cells when we have babies! ...and the fact they get soooo cute doesn't help either Still, better leaving behind the handbag than the baby... I almost did that when leaving a dinner party at a friend's house - the little mite was only a couple of weeks old and slept through all our eating and chatting... bless - now, that could have never happened with DS2, he made sure we know where he was, and how he felt at all times... (He still does ) Anyone else here has the mixed blessing of a 'spirited child' to enjoy? Ana
Ain't Nobody Here
At least you didn't get into some else's car by mistake . My friend had parked to let me pop into a shop quickly. While I was in the shop she moved her car into a different space (it was a line of parking spaces alongside a pavement). I came out and hopped into the car that was in space she had been in (it was the same colour car - I'm not that daft ). Don't know who was more surprised, me or the bloke . Needless to say, my friend was watching the whole thing .
chickencam
Anyone else here has the mixed blessing of a 'spirited child' to enjoy? Ana Yes my YD is very like that. ED is laid back and easy to get on with. DS will never say what he wants or tell you if he is unhappy. They are all so different.

They had just filled the car with petrol and while she was inside paying, my brother moved the car forward to let another car take his place at the pump. The driver was a bit startled when my SIL jumped into his passenger seat (we like to keep reminding her as well - always good for a laugh)
