Egluntyne
I keep seeing this name Egluntine, is this the chicken owners oracle? No...I've just got a big gob. I get layers pellets, mixed corn, Aubiose , mixed poultry grit ,louse powder and all manner of other sundries at: Horse & Rider 187, Northfield Rd, Sheffield, S10 1QQ Tel: 0114 268 2523 Half day closing Thur. I always ring first as they will order stuff in for you and I hate a wasted journey. Also occasionally I go to Brough Mill, an agricultural supplier in Hope Valley They sell all sorts too. W.M Eyre & Sons Brough Corn Mill, Brough, Bradwell, Hope Valley, Derbyshire S33 9HG Tel: 01433 620353 There is a place out at Dinnington too, I've never been, but my pal uses it, so I could find out the details if you are that side of Sheffield. chicken crazy
Thanks for the advice, I work at S6 and live in S13. The dinnington one might be good, if you could let me have the details. I've got to try and talk my boyfriend into taking me to them! I've got my driving test 2 wks after the chickens arrive so its all go at my house at the moment! Egluntyne
Just had a word with my friend. The Dinnington one isn't there anymore apparently. She goes**here** now. I expect you are half way between that and Horse and Rider.

jlo
it is making me feel all nostalgic reading about the Sheffield Postcodes. I was in S8 until I was 18 but that was sadly a long time ago now!
Troy
Dont let Egluntine tell you shes got a big gob....she is in fact the super all knowing chicken oracle. Shes given me some great and practical advise since I have joined here too. I think she is probably worthy of a cape Troy

jlo
Sadly, it is 24 years since I was 18! There - giving it all away now! I have been back a few times (notably for a school reunion a few years ago that was a good laugh! but don't have much family up there now. It is completely different now and I get completely lost trying to find my way round

Egluntyne
The suppliers in the Sheffield 36 post code as mentioned in the link above are about 15- 20 miles away from where chicken crazy lives and the one in S6 isn't worth a visit.. Do your's free range? Yes, when I am at home. Its nice your in sheffield too, I feel like I'm not the only chicken person here. There are quite a few Sheffielders on the forum now. Although I do appreciate ALL advice I've recieved on the forum. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have all of you experts to guide me.
