I always ring first as they will order stuff in for you and I hate a wasted journey.

Also occasionally I go to Brough Mill, an agricultural supplier in Hope Valley They sell all sorts too.

There is a place out at Dinnington too, I've never been, but my pal uses it, so I could find out the details if you are that side of Sheffield.

Thanks for the advice, I work at S6 and live in S13. The dinnington one might be good, if you could let me have the details.

I've got to try and talk my boyfriend into taking me to them! I've got my driving test 2 wks after the chickens arrive so its all go at my house at the moment!

Sadly, it is 24 years since I was 18! There - giving it all away now! I have been back a few times (notably for a school reunion a few years ago that was a good laugh! but don't have much family up there now. It is completely different now and I get completely lost trying to find my way round :?

The suppliers in the Sheffield 36 post code as mentioned in the link above are about 15- 20 miles away from where chicken crazy lives and the one in S6 isn't worth a visit.. :D

Do your's free range?

Yes, when I am at home. :D

As I said in a previous post...I find myself waiting until Egluntine responds before running out and doing anything rash. :D Although I do appreciate ALL advice I've recieved on the forum. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have all of you experts to guide me.

Same here, Egluntine IS the all knowing chook expert. She has given me lots of sound advice too, which has been so helpful in introducing extra girlies etc.

:clap::D
