melcotton
I am really pale skinned and last year I got fed up of the fair/normal and decided to go for the darker version of the Johnsons cream but that would always go on streaky so its back to the paler version for me! buffie
Well I am brown and it's so easy . Very good suggestion guys. I have found instant tan a real bind to be honest but this is easy and works. Anyone tried the tan in the can...can't think of the name. Hopeless stuff and goes in a fine mist so covered the area around the towel that I put down to protect the carpet £30.00 down the drain and a mucked up carpet ...not the good idea the guy in the shop lead me to believe Buffie the mug BBx

Paola
St Tropez was it,Buffie? Mmmm that stuff is not cheap Having been using the Dove stuff since Sunday and i can see a difference
buffie
St Tropez was it,Buffie? No Sarah...off to get can....It's..............Airbrush in a can, bright pink can and it's a spray but it's nonsense. St Tropez I like but I have to make a real effort to apply unlike this moisturiser. Bought in Space NK , had been fitted at rigby and peller and was having a special treats day (one off) and was on a high and ready to be conned as we were off to see the Frank Sinatra show at the palladium, never mind BBx
Cinnamon
Rigby & Peller & Space NK - you sound like my sort of girl,Buffie Never been to R&P,but have always aspired too as I find it hard to get nice bras in my size. A SpaceNK has just opened in Henley,& it looks fab, although I have not been in there yet
Cookie
My sister-in-law bought me Rigby & Peller gift vouchers for my 30th birthday a couple of ( ) years ago. It was a brilliant present. From the minute the liveried doorman opened the shop door with a "Good morning, Madam" it was a really good experience. And very impressively the assistants just take one look at your chest and go off and find you a selection of bras that fit. No measuring or anything . So clever. I've not been back since as its VERY expensive and I have a very standard bra size so can't really justify it when there is a big M&S opposite my office and a La Senza down the road. But if I had huge boobs or something more 'specialist' I would certainly go back. Love, Cookie. xx
The Dogmother
You buying kinky underwear again Buffster? I'd love to get properly fitted for a bra (not that I have any special requirements - fried eggs ) - last time I had it done in John Lewis, the assistant must have been taking lessons from Trinny & Susannah and was manhandling me jugs

Cinnamon
Rigby & Peller is certainly on my list of experiences I want to have. I have horrible problems with bras,& find that the ONE that fits is always the ugliest in the shop
ali-s
I am going to give the fake tan another go. Will try Dove this time and I will not apply it straight after a shower and shaving. I still have a few small red marks on my leg. Don't get me started on bras. The last time I was measured I went to 4 different shops in one day and was given 4 different measurements, ranging from 30F to 32E and M&S measured 34B Now I just pick up a selection, try them on and buy the most comfy Being a strange size, bras usually have to be ordered for me and the straps are so wide they might as well be sleeves

The Dogmother
I've heard that too - a friend is a therapist and she always exfoliates first, then applies a light body lotion before the self-tan - never seen any streaks on her.
Cate in NZ
I keep promising myself the Rigby & Peller experience. I'm reasonably well endowed , and seem to have bra's in a vast variety of sizes, half of which really don't seem to fit that well after the first 10 mins of wearing them. I do get deterred by the cost though..... £50 & upwards for a bra But one of these days I love the Johnson's Holiday skin too, better than the Dove in fact
Lesley-Jean
£50 I've got Nivea body, quite nice
Cookie
£50 Yes - quite! Wouldn't have done it if it hadn't have been a present - but the two bras & matching knickers I got are the nicest I have EVER had - absolutely love 'em! However having said that an Agent Provocateur corset is also on my wish list You really do know how to shop Buffie

Thanks Shona..... I think I might give that one a miss- I was never much good at the Blue Peter thing of making wonderful items from an empty bottle of washing up liquid, 2 toilet roll middles and a roll of sticky back plastic, and my crafting skills have declined steadily since I stopped watching BP. I shudder to think what I might end up with if I gave this one a go
