Boo&Fudge
Hello We just thought we would keep you posted. All 3 of our girls are now laying eggs, they were showing all the right signs before we went on holiday and on 22 July we took them to my sister who was hen sitting for us. We set off on holiday on 23 July and we were only 30 minutes into our journey when we got a phone call - Margo has just laid her first egg!! We couldn't believe it!! A few days later Bunty started to lay and then Fifi followed on! We were getting daily text messages that became known as "teggs" whilst we were away and a phone call on the final day to say Fifi had been sat on my sisters knee and had laid an egg on her!! We have just collected our girls from their holiday together with 19 fresh eggs. Ranging from 40g - 55g!!! As soon as we put Margo back in the run she laid an egg for us! Guess what we are having for tea! We are really pleased with our girls and it's lovely to have them back in the garden! Seagazer
Fantastic - my hubby had his first eggs tonight (omlette for each of us). He's been on a diet and not allowed them. He thought they tasted so much better than the supermarket ones. Its great when they start laying. You're so lucky to have all laying. Still waiting for one to start!!
