lisa33
Then I realised she was sunbathing in the conservatory using one their perches as a pillow. Edited August 12, 2008 by Guest
MedusA
The first time one of mine sunbathed, I thought she'd got a broken wing! Why do we always think the worst first? Some sun would be nice. You know. It is August and all that!
dancing cloud
Thanks to this forum, I knew sunbathing chickens looked like they'd died, or I'd have thought I'd killed all my ex-batts when they first did it the day after I got them
abwsco
I've just had a panic in the garden thinking we'd lost another exbatt as she was laying down but on a bit of a slope so her head was hanging downwards, legs and one wing stuck out at an odd angle and I couldn't see her breathing either Anyway, madam must have been in a really deep sun sleep as she stood up, shook herself and just trotted off down the garden! It does look like it doesn't it Do all chickens just sunbathe by being stood upright one moment then just keeling over onto their side, or is it just mine that do that.
