Our Stag is called Basil We have too many hens to name them all... no we dont eat them!!! They are slate & lavenders.

They go broody (yes broody !) all at once & sit on mountains of eggs , do you know how many eggs a turkey can sit???? Too bloomin many!! Ever tried taking eggs away from a broody Turkey?!

 

We once have a Pekin (Penny) sit on a heap of turkey eggs LOL when she was broody...soooo funny

All great names! The poults will only be young when we get them, so though we are hoping for a male and female, breeder can't guarantee the sex 100%. We do know the colours though - one lavender and one black/yellow.

 

Some of the suggestions chez moi have been:

 

Aubrey and Lorelei; Sage and Onion; Machu and Pichu; Stan and Hilda; Jack and Vera; George and Mildred.

 

I am hoping that when we see them something just clicks!
