Geoid
Ditch Norton now! Is is really rubbish, there are several free ones that are better than the ones you buy in the shops. I recommend Avast! and AVG To remove Norton completely download this, Remove Norton FIRST!

Ain't Nobody Here
I use AVG (free edition) and have had no problems with it.
Ms Marple
I also use AVG free edition- really good. Got scammed (diff post)whilst a Norton user - hate it.
Snowy
I switched to the free AVG last year at the recommendation of omletteers. Computer is much faster now and had no problems since.

jlo
I used AVG and recently updated to 8.0 but am wishing that I were back with the free edition. I kept getting things to say that it wasn't going to update so I have paid £39 for a year's subscription and don't find it nearly as easy to use as the 7.
The Dogmother
I use AVG free edition on the laptop, but not on the PC as Rosie uses that and I want to have parental control enabled. I want to speak to my techie mate next time my Norton licence comes up for renewal and see what he thinks... I may well buy into the more advanced version of AVG. Shirl
A Norton trial came free with my laptop but when it expires I'll be moving to Kaspersky because you can get it free if you bank online with Barlcays.
