I am so excited Omlet have called to say they will be with me tomorrow between 8-10am!!

I'd like to say I'm preping but I'm at work today boo!

 

I have made a seating area behind the chicken's new home. My garden is quite long and so a good few feet after the lawn was just left to do its own thing before I bought the house. Its taken a while but I've cleared it and have a veg patch, chicken run and seating area now! My garden looks huge!! So I'm sure I'll be sat down there tomorrow with a cuppa and some cake taking it all in!!!

 

2 hens are arriving as well. I asked for Miss Pepperpot's so fingers crossed.

 

I've been reading up on how to post pics, I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it but I'll give it a try!

Miss Pepperpots are lovely. I had 2. One was all black and looked a bit scary like a raven and the other had lots of brown mixed in. They were both beautiful (and prettier than my gingernuts..... ).

 

Cheeky I know but perhaps you can ask the delivery man for a peek at them when they arrive (as he's bound to have more for other people too) and see if you want 2 different looking ones, or more black or more brown.....

Here's my favourite Henrietta (she's the one in my avatar) and she's got more brown. Pic when she was younger and her comb and wattles are now huge and bright red.

How exciting for you I couldn't sleep the night before mine arrived and kept peering out the window of my alloted time slot 10-12 wishing they would appear like magic they arrived at 12.00 exactly !!!
