Have just seen this film tobight with DD and it has to be the best thing I've seen in a long time, I want to go again tomorrow, I love it!

 

Anyone else agree?

 

Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth in the suits at the end - I nearly wet myself laughing.

I've just got back from seeing it with my son. We went to the sing-a-long version. It was good fun.

I've been to see it with my daughter, but didn't know there was a special 'sing-a-long' version. I sang all the way through anyway. It's excellent, cheesey yes, but in a cool way.

I've just come back from it too . It was fab - really enjoyed it . Sadly, the cinema was almost empty so there wasn't much singing .

 

I'm assuming the "singalong version" just means you're allowed to sing and people can't complain .

I saw it a couple of weeks ago and thought it was fabulous. Can't wait for the DVD to come out. Julie Walters was so funny at the end dancing on the table.

 

I spent several days afterwards trying to work out what I'd seen the actor who played Skye in and realised it was in the TV adaptation of Pride and Predjudice.

 

Having two grown up daughters though, I cried when Meryl Streep sang 'Slipping through my fingers'. What a sop eh!

I wouldn't mind seeing it. But knowing me it won't be 'till it comese on the telly! I'm betting sometime around Xmas 2010???

 

Shame really cos I think James would like it.

 

I have a rule about the cinema though. I only go to see Grease - last time was singalonga Grease, previous time was the anniversary. I hate cinemas - such as waste of money first you pay for the ticket - then you pay for the bucket of popcorn, then you pay for a bucket of drink to wash down the popcorn then after you've spent £20 you fall asleep halfway through the film. That's how it works for me anyway!

Saw this a couple of weeks ago with baby bear and a couple of friends. Knew I was setting a terrible example when baby bear was word perfect with the songs all the way through.

 

Excellent feel good film - which lets face it with a summer like this one - we all need.

Am going to see it for the 3rd time on Friday! My Mum and Dad want to go.

 

Dad was a big fan and i remember as a toddler standing on the sofa playing air guitar to his Abba records back in the early 80's!

Caitlin's been to see it twice with her Auntie, and is now telling all and sundry that Santa is bringing her an MP3 player for Christmas so she can listen to the soundtrack whenever she wants.

I actually, finally, got to see it yesterday evening . And I have to admit that I loved every minute, even if it was cheesier than my chickens names ever were . Pierce Brosnan can't sing for toffee, what a waste of the gorgeous Colin Firth, and I love the incredibly funny Julie Walters, but in terms of feel good films this one is fab.

Did anyone else spot Benny & Bjorn's guest appearances as angels right at the very end

I'll be buying this on DVD asap, just to keep me company on those dull ironing days, I was itching to sing and dance along in the cinema, but felt somewhat constrained by the fact that i'm tone deaf....that won't matter a jot at home

I went to see it last night.

 

I thought it was fantastic even if it was cheesier than the cheesiest cheese.

 

No, Pierce cannot sing but who cares he makes good eye candy.

I haven't seen it as I don't like Abba but have pre-ordered the DVD as DD's have seen it and loved it.
