Mrs Frugal
I've just picked our first strawberries of the year and they look fabulous and juicy. They are "Pegasus" variety and we're growing them in a pot with our potted apple trees which means we can net them to keep the blackbirds off them!! Before... After... Roll on tea time ! Mrs Frugal
Yes, strawberries just have to be put to good use in a pavlova in our house ! We've not started eating it yet, LJ but you'd better hurry! The eggs came from Eggy, my farmer friend as I've got one hen out of three laying and her eggs are earmarked for scotch eggs for tea tomorrow, I'm afraid! Shattered illusions all round now, eh ! Mrs Frugal
Pavlovas are really easy. If you've not made one before, Clare, give it a try as they are delicious!! They are also a good way of making a little fruit go a lot further!!
