fowlbird
got up this morning, it was cold, misty and dull so I switched on the outside xmas lights to make it more cheerful. Before I knew it, the sun was shining and it was quite warm again and the lights looked a bit silly British weather, eh?
Mel (& Paul)
Well as most of you know, the sun always shines in Dorset And indeed it was at 7.45 this morning. By 8.15 it was grey and miserable and it was SO cold up at the horses field **brrrrrr** but got back to hot coffee and light the fire and switch the tree lights on ***lovely***

Guest
I sat down at 2pm to have a sandwich, and the view over to the Cheviots was beautiful, with the sun shining through the window. My mother phoned, and when I sat back down 20 minutes later, a thick peasoup freezing fog had descended and the view only went as far as the cars parked in the spaces across the road.... Ardene5
Hi Everyone Here in Preesall near Blackpool at 5 am this morning it was white over with frost. As I am doing a drive for special need children this morning in an other area I am up and getting ready. Just giving a quick weather report before getting on the icy roads. Hope it is better where you are. How is the weather in the rest of the UK? chickencam
It is so dark and gloomy here today, and pretty chilly too I agree about the earlier comments on Dorset when it's good it's very very good and when it's bad it's horrid We had a top quality frame tent ripped to shreds in a storm in 2002 in July
The Dogmother
Like Lesley, we had terrible floods on Saturday; luckily I live on a hill, but the park at the bottom of the road was flooded, the pup wasn't too keen to go for a walk. Town centre was flooded in areas and the Cherwell was nearly back up to the doors of the sports centre... again We had to head off to Milton Keynes on Saturday afternoon for our company Christmas do, luckily they put us all up overnight, so I didn't need to get up early to splosh out and walk/feed/let out the animals. Sunday was a lot drier and we even had a brief sunny spell in the middle of the day, but it didn't last and the gloom descended again while I was cleaning out the bunnies and chooks. One of my oldest chooks died on Saturday but that's a whole other story and I'll post it on my blog later.
