yes it does ,never realised that.I gave them a couple of meal worms earlier when they were in ,to try and tame them more.They loved them I presume the odd treat is going to be ok

I hope you're not expecting those gorgeous girlies to live outdoors . They're obviously house chickens, with those lovely fluffy feet .

I have a Cochin, a blue one, called Skye! A lot bigger than yours are though but when I got her she was about 10 weeks and very small and cute.

 

I give mine mealworms every day, they are full of protein and they love them but when they are chicks I would just try them with very small amounts of treats, I used to give mine a bit of lettuce.

 

My cat sits on the radiator too, especially if there's a tea-towel on there drying so he doesn't burn his paws!!

the girls are living in luxury in the stable with aubiose on the floor.So hopefully they will stay clean and fluffy When they are older they will get to play out with the big girls only in dry weather though.I am in love with these girls and their little cheeping
