Looked in on my girlies before closing the door, to find all of them in a heap sleeping But they were huddled in a tiny corner, not enjoying their palace at all! Do they do it for warmth? helenmb Posted October 22, 2008 Share Posted October 22, 2008 I put a thermometer in my eglu last year that sends a radio signal back to my weather station I have in the house and its suprising how much warmer it was inside the Eglu than outside (even when it was below zero outside). Will do the same this year when my Cube arrives next week. I think the snuggling is a 'flock' thing, even my (sadly RIP now) grumpy older girl snuggled up to the youngsters at night even though she didn't care for them much when she was outside.
