kitbag
hi guys!! I only got a new phone a few months ago. i was checking on the chooks and i fell over getting all muddy, so i had to wash my school uniform. (i was playing a solo in the school concert later that evening!) It was only after i washed my trousers, that i realised i had also managed to wash my phone! I was looking at new phones just now, and i came across this thing called reconditioned phones! Its where people that don't want of need their phones anymore can give it to a phone shop, the shop cleans it up and sells it on again!! So i have just brought a very nice phone for £20, but if it was new it would have been nearer to £100! HOORAY!! And it is just like new!! I'm so pleased i just had to tell you all! (and it is recycling!!) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ubereglu
That's good news. I have heard of reconditioned phones-but only because the daughter of my Mum's friend had spectacularly managed to end up throwing her phone in the pond whilst trying to lock the door one morning! Ain't Nobody Here
That's a good deal . Well done! Is it an online shop or a "real" one?
kitbag
That's a good deal . Well done! Is it an online shop or a "real" one? It was on the Orange website. Most of the reconditioned phones on there are for around £20, and apparently most people can't tell the difference between a new phone and a reconditioned phone! How good is that!!?? Lewis
I've just had a look on the website, it looks quite good, and really cheap! This is the link if anyone else was interested
Snowy
Well done! I've had a couple of reconditioned phones from Orange - fantastic value and great phones (resold one on ebay for the same as I paid for it!!!) That sounds as though I bought it to sell on again - I didn't! Used it for a few months then changed as had a car with a phone cradle already fitted and wanted a phone to fit

Omletina Kyckling
That's excellent. I don't think there's anything quite like getting a new 'phone to play with....I'm still that Penguinmad has the new Nokia N96!!
kitbag
The only thing is, it keeps playing random music really loudly, and in the middle of Windsor, it is THE most embarrasing thing ever! It is now permanently on silent!!
ChrisP
Why's it playing music? Bit of a bargain tho!!!
Willow
Wow that's worth knowing, thanks. My eldest son has a tendency to lose things so I'm reluctant to buy him a new phone but he does need a mobile as he gets the train for school.
