Scramble
We didn't have one either! I got my dad to buy lots of sweets too! I invited my friend round to watch scary films though, so we ended up eating them Did any one carve a pumpkin? Here's ours:

Cooks
I love that pumpkin, I am useless at it and end up making a mess.
Valkyrie
Fab pumpkin! Clootie: or put the lights out and hide behind the couch !! Us too. No callers - I think most will ask first so that we can get the goodies in advance and then they phone just before knocking so that we know who we are answering the door to. A couple of years ago a young lad went egging everything along the road. Just goes to show that shop bought eggs are wasted, home grown ones are consumed with great gusto! That didn't quite come out right, but you know what I mean Lots of fireworks, but none close by. There were lots of fab displays in Kempshott and lots of children in fancy dress. Cinnamon
Someone once came to my door asking to buy Hallowe'en eggs . Told her where to get off - my girls eggies are far too precious to be chucked at houses

alih
we took our 2 youngest out at 6 with our little nephew and niece adn saw lots of littlies looking very cute and quite scared to go ringing on doorbells ( I always think it's bizarre that for a paranoid society we encourage our kids to knock on strangers' doors and ask for sweets one night a year!) but my 2 teens were also told not to go in large groups or into town - I drove through and saw massive gangs of teens who looked scary to me and I'm a robust 40 something....but they bizarrely preferred to play games at their friends'.. we only had 1 lot of kids at our door which I was sad about too as I like all that stuff...OH looking forward to scoffing the treats instead!
