katieandnick
So, today being a miserable wet, cold Saturday, I thought I'd take a wee drive into the countryside to cheer myself up a bit. And (ahem), I come across a place selling ermmmmm, chickens... I said I'd only have a bit of a look, just to say hello to the girlies, that sort of thing. Suffice to say, there are now three new Heritage Skylines in the green Eglu keeping Dusty chicken company Moral of the story? Don't go out for a drive with a "spare" cardboard box in the boot... Piccies tomorrow when it's light! (Katie's going to kill me. She's in York visiting her mum, she'll never trust me again not to come back to another fresh batch of girlies!) bigmommasally
How lovely, have you taken any piccies yet? Are you going to confess to Katie before she comes home or just surprise her. You could try passing them off as an early christmas pressie. I hope she's not too mad at you.

I went for one yesterday and came back with a spare. My Plan To Have 5 Chickens is now, erm, 7.
Ain't Nobody Here
When Katie spots them, you can just use the old "what, those old things? Had them for ages!" line . Failing that, just say they followed you home .
