Henrietta and hermionie distance apart are over 2 fingers now so it cant be long. combs and wattles quite large and bright red, they are eating for England...... New pictures on my collietalk space. helenmb Posted November 2, 2008 Share Posted November 2, 2008 They certainly look like they are around the right age, although my Amber Star didn't crouch coming up to her first egg but I did notice the yellowy droppings that some other threads have mentioned coming up to their first egg. Havent really noticed crouching but the chickens like to go under a fir tree where the earth is bare and dry. They have dustbaths there.....
