M&S Dine in for £10 offer

Recommended Posts

Silly question time I'm afraid....

I looked in M&S one day for this offer..it was a small M&S, and I was in a rush....do you have to find all the components all over the store..and hope you've chosen the correct items to qualify.....or do they have them in one large section....

I have to say I gave up....so we didnt get the wine..or the rest...and just got mince instead LOL !!!

the store did advertise the offer in the window...

I went for this deal, I got a whole chicken + roast potatoes + bottle of wine, however they had run out of puddings. At the till they charged me the individual prices which came to £7-36 and then they gave me a voucher for £5-00 for the lack of the pudding.

seemed like a good deal to me :dance:

those £10 deals are really good, the wine is lovely :D

My local M&S is the massive one at the Meadows in Camberley - best avoided on a Friday evening when all that was left was the potato pie

That is my fav M&S :D The food hall is fantastic. I will be off to M&S tonight

As we don't eat chicken of any kind & are a bit tired of lasagne, moussaka etc - then we are giving it a miss this time. Not tempted by anything. We enjoyed the pork medallions in apple & cider sauce last time.

Waitrose have done one about a month or so ago - fabulous. They are doing another before Xmas, but don't know when.

Are the M&S chicken dishes free range? I got the lemon sole because I couldn't see anywhere on the packets of the chicken dishes whether they were FR...and I fancied the indian dish! Mind you, I also feel a bit guilty about the fish as most fish are massively overfished and our seas are in desperate straits. If DS wasn't such a committed meat-eater, I might go vegetarian but I can't be doing with cooking two meals every night

Caroline, so far as I understand, none of the chikcen in their prepared dishes is free range - it's intensively farmed pap from Tahiland  which is why I steer clear of them. Some of their 'other chicken' like thighs and roasting birds are free range, but you have to check the label carefully.

It's a subject that I have taken up with both M&S and Waitrose... the idea of having free range chicken meat in their prepared dishes; it's the next logical step for them so feel free to lobby them.
